25 Weeks

25 Weeks and still pregnant!
Happy to be here growing "a nice sized baby" as my midwife said at my last appointment.
Measuring a week ahead of schedule.
Trying to resist the temptation to overdo it...

...and accumulating "girly" things!

No need to worry about hair when you have the perfect hat!

A boy closet going pink.

Dresses!

Pink!

Shoes!

Pants with a pink heart on the bottom? Why YES!!!!!!

Resisting the urge to feed my family beans and rice every night so that I can shop endlessly at hannahAndersson.com Yea. Their family holiday coordinating outfits are out and on SALE!

Phil has been warned.

And this coordinating outfit WILL be happening:

A Splashy Day

What good is an umbrella if you can't use it?

Lately, we have had much rain.

Things have "greened" up quite nicely. We were starting to wonder if our yard would make it through?

We feel bad for our Texas friends and the drought that makes shower water smell like earth.

Luke and I sent a package to Texas last week for our friends who had a new baby. Luke said "I want to send them a hose to put out the fire" He has been very concerned about the wild fires in Texas.

A splashy puddle was located

And fallen into.

Watch out!

Getting splashed by brother.

Spider moves.

Ditching the umbrella!

Praying today for some sweet rain to cover Texas!

Quick and Easy Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

2 Flour Tortilla Shells
leftover spaghetti sauce
shredded cheese
various pizza toppings

Directions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lay tortillas on baking sheet. Spread spaghetti sauce over flour tortillas. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. If your kids or you like toppings get creative and cover with toppings. Self explanatory right? Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese bubbles along the edge.

This is my go to recipe when Luke requests pizza for lunch. I like it because I usually have all of the ingredients on hand. When I use a jar of spaghetti sauce I usually do not use the whole thing and there is a little left in the jar in the fridge. Also, I just use whatever cheese I have on hand. Sometimes it is shredded and sometimes not. Sometimes I only have mozzarella string cheese so I just string that up and lay the strings over the sauce. My kids like it because the little pizzas look like the real thing! They love them!
