Luke Drinking

Phil taught Luke how to say "Ahh" after taking a drink. It is pretty hilarious to watch and he (Luke) is so proud of himself when he does it. I love this stage of toddlerhood :) He picks up on things so quickly. Yesterday Luke brought me one of my high heeled dress shoes and I sat it on the ground and told him to put his foo tin the shoe and he did! And then, of course, he started walking with it on! I grabbed my camera but my card was full. So bummed! Although, when I told Phil about it later he was relieved that I did not record that incident :)

Luke really wants to be involved with the Wii. He paces around when people are playing it! So cute. Phil let him have a controller the other day and helped him play. He does not like when we help him play. Now he Luke REALLY wants to be involved. In fact, he is now able to crawl onto the couch and get to the Wii controllers. So it is his new obsession...probably shouldn't have started that one huh?

Snow Day!

Finally some snow!! Twelve inches to be more specific! The news said ten but I am SURE that it is twelve! Phil even had school canceled for the day!!!!! That never happens! Phil is just coming in from shoveling...almost 3 hours later! We are not snowed in anymore. Thanks honey! You're the best shoveler around!

We are not sure if Luke is a fan of snow or not. He is more of an observer...from inside!

Good thing that Phil went to the grocery for us last night. Phil's night class was canceled too. Oh, and church today was canceled last night. Crazy!

Indianapolis Children's Museum

We went to the Indianapolis Children's Museum today to meet Sam & Jenni for the day. One of the reasons we decided to meet them there was because Batman was visiting the museum! It was the authentic costume from The Dark Knight. They also had one of the batmobiles that was used in the movie.

We had a lot of fun - there were quite a few opportunities for Luke to play with things, so he is pretty tired tonight. He especially had a blast!

Basketball!

Today Luke was having a blast playing with his basketball hoop! For about 45 minutes he was literally trying to run around, get all of the balls in the room, and put them in the basket! At times, we thought he actually was running! Here is a clip of our fun.
