Cabin Fever

We will miss Bloomington in the spring! Yesterday when we arrived home it was 8 degrees warmer than the weather that we had left in Ft. Wayne hours earlier. We will miss Bryan Park too! So many memories there of walking Sanibel and playing at the park and pool. I tucked baby Micah in my sling and we had a park day.

I like when his lips tie up like a bow. You know, like in the "Night Before Christmas" poem:

"His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow."

Luke is so athletic and agile! Such a grown-up boy!

All of that fun stuff to do and he wanted to do what I was doing.

The digging scooper thing is a big hit! He can finally operate it all on his own!

A backseat driver

Luke loves to hang. "Like a monkey" he said.

Climbing wall

Phil packed a lunch for Luke. We thought he would fall asleep in the car on the way home...that did not happen. Too exciting!

Our sidewalk is quite colorful lately! Luke prefers the blue chalk and, like his crayons, he is very heavy handed.

Baby Micah is right in the mix!

His hat is too big

Bubbles = happiness

Luke likes to make heavy marks and circles. He is especially fond of drawing a circle around a piece of ancient gum that is on the sidewalk right outside our front door. I am sure that is was there when we moved in but if you ask him where it came from he says "ME!" He has never even had chewing gum before. He is concerned about it though.

We take drawing requests.

The snowman that Luke made with my dad keeps making a comeback. Luke gets worried when the carrot nose falls off and lays on the ground. The funniest part is that we have a bunny that likes to come and nibble on it! He loves that a "bunny rabbit" is snacking on his carrot nose.

Hopefully this was our last snow of the season. The only snowmen that we will be making are the ones made of sidewalk chalk! He always requests for a snowman. Luckily they are easy to draw.

This is baby Micah at 6 weeks old. He is losing his hair and it might be coming in blond? We will see!

This is the castle that Phil drew. It has Grandma and Grandpa Fishbaugh on the roof because Grandpa Fishabugh always says "Have fun storming the castle" from "The Princess Bride"

Here is Luke pointing at Grandpa Fishbaugh

Now pointing to Grandma

More of that heavy handed blue action that he is so fond of!
