Cookie Making

Last week, in between finals, we wanted to have some fun and make some Christmas memories. You already saw our gingerbread house and the next morning we made cookies! I mixed up a double batch of sugar cookie dough the night before and refrigerated it over night. The boys handled the rolling out of the dough!

Luckily, I have two rolling pins. They both wanted to be involved!

We had to use A LOT of flour because the dough was in the fridge all night!

Luke caught on very fast. It was hard to keep up with him!

The cookies baked perfectly on the Pampered Chef baking stone. I can't wait to try out my new rectangular stone that just came in yesterday! We were planning on decorating the cookies later that day but they were so good plain that we ate them all (over the week) and never frosted them. Oh well! Maybe next year!

Phil & Lucas,
I don't think you guys used near enough flour on those cookies! Watching the whole process made me very hungry for Christmas cookies! Too bad you ate them all or else I might be down to get my fix.
Merry Christmas
Love,
Aunt Lisa
